Natural Remedies for Healthy skin

Three routine steps for healthy skin

Healthy glowing skin is a dream for everyone, but we all fail to know the exact measures that we should take to keep our skin healthy from within.

Whitening cream, facials, treatments etc can only enhance the skin not cure it. Our expert Zubaida Tariq suggests five important steps to keep your skin healthy and nourished. Starting with homemade remedies is the best option because every product being natural and organic has no side effects and will bring out better results.

1)    Exfoliate:

The first important step is to exfoliate your skin. Some people greatly misunderstand the concept of exfoliation. Exfoliation is a process to remove the dead layer of skin from your face to let the fresh skin breath. When our skin gets highly exposed to dust, sun, pollution etc, it forms a layer of dry skin on our face which contains bacterial and fungal impurities which causes acne and black heads.

Homemade remedies expert Zubida Tariq suggests some useful tips to exfoliate your skin naturally.

Olive oil is very useful in this process. Massage olive oil into the skin and leave it overnight. In morning gently scrub off with a mild scrub. Olive oil has natural moisturizing and anti ageing properties. This oil does not clog skin pores because naturally its molecules are quite bigger than our pores.

Use tomatoes for a natural glow and renewing your skin. Make a tomato paste or take a ripe tomato and gently massage it onto the face. You will notice an instant glow within days.

2)    Cleanse:

Second step is to cleanse your skin. No matter how much we care our skin still get exposed to the impurities. To help avoiding clogged pores and acne we must cleanse our skin on regular intervals.

Cucumber or cucumber juice is a natural cleanser. It contains natural antioxidants which helps renovating the skin and purifying it. Use cucumber juice directly onto the skin and gently massage. Leave it for about 20 minutes and rinse it off.

Honey is another wonderful product. Use honey with few lemon drops as a face pack every night. Keep the mask for about 15 minutes and then wash off with luke warm water. Honey stops the bacterial growth and lemon refreshes the skin and removes tan.

3)    Moisturize:

Moisturizing is the key to glowing skin. Moisturizing your skin daily before bed will heal and nourish the skin.

Aloe Vera is a natural moisturizer. It moisturizes and heals the skin. Applying Aloe gel every night will bring out results of smooth and supple skin within days. It can also be used with rose water for extra glow.

Bananas are not only a healthy food for body but also for skin and hair. Mash a banana and add few drops or honey to make a face mask. Keep the mask for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash off. Instantly you will feel the difference in your skin.
