Home Remedies for Dandruff and Hair Spa

LEMON:

The remedy of dry, itchy scalp might be just in your refrigerator. Massage your scalp with freshly squeezed lemon juice and rinse. Daily use will make the dandruff disappear.

BAKING SODA:

Rinse your hair thoroughly and rub a handful of baking soda vigorously on your scalp. Rinse again. Baking soda reduces the overacting fungi which causes dandruff. Your hair may get dried out first but applying this technique once a week will result into flake-free scalp and healthy hair.

ASPIRIN:

Crush two tablets of aspirin (disprin) into fine powder and mix it with the daily amount of shampoo you use. Apply on scalp and leave it for 2-3 minutes. Rinse and wash with regular shampoo again. Aspirin has salicylic acid(used in medicated shampoos).

1)      OILING:

Oiling is best for reducing hair fall and giving shiny hair. Take a generous amount of olive oil and massage thoroughly on scalp. Leave it for a few hours (preferably overnight). The massage will simulate blood flow and hence hair will get more nutrition. Hair roots will absorb oil If it is left for a couple hours.

 

2)      STEAMING:

Next, take a towel and soak it in warm water. Squeeze and wrap the towel around your head for 10 minutes. This will allow the oil to go deep down the roots and penetrate into scalp, leaving it healthy and nourished.

 

3)      SHAMPOOING:

Shampoo your hair with a mild shampoo. Avoid using too hot or too cold water. As this will damage the hair strands. Avoid fizzy hair by not rubbing them with towel while drying.

 

4)      CONDITIONING:

While hair is still wet, apply a conditioner that suits your hair. Try conditioners that have natural ingredient extracts. Do not waste money on local brands, instead, invest on a good quality product. You can use natural tea and lemon conditioner.  Boil a tablespoon of tea leaves for 5 minutes and cool. Then add a few drops of lemon juice and rinse your hair.

 

5)      MASK:

Mask is used to give hair the required shine and make them manageable. In order to cut the cost you can easily prepare mask at home. Take two eggs yolks for dry hair or egg whites for oily hair and mix with 2 teaspoon of coconut oil. Add a teaspoon of honey. Beat well and apply on hair with mask brush. Cover hair with warm wet towel for twenty minutes. Wash off with shampoo.
