Paratha roll is something most liked by our youth today and Crispy Chicken Paratha Roll is its best form. Paratha is part of the Pakistani recipes since old times and it has remained continuously in the state of changing forms. Basic form of paratha is nothing else than the fried Roti. Paratha is famous for its crisp, its sweet taste and buttery mouth-watering. Paratha has got special attention of men of all ages and we see that there are many restaurants now which are famous just for their parathas.

Types

There are now evolved many types of parathas over time. There are “Aalu k Parathay”, there are “Qeemay k parathay”, there are “Mooli k parathay”, there are “Chicken parathay”, there are “Chicken Cheese parathay” and there are many more.

Roll

When you prepare a paratha, fill it with something and roll it over; then it becomes a paratha roll.

Ingredients & Procedure for making Chicken paratha roll

Mix together;

  • Curded Flour almost 2 cups
  • Oil 6 spoons
  • Salt 1 tea spoon
  • Egg one
  • Baking powder 1/2 tea spoon

After mixing, prepare a doe and the best strategy is to keep that doe covered with a wet piece of cloth at room temperature. If you will keep it in this way for about an hour, the results will be very good. This is a true Pakistani Recipe but it is equally liked among the Indian recipes. After keeping it at room temperature for some time, place it in the refrigerator for another half an hour.

Make Paratha for Crispy Chicken Paratha roll

Now make some pretty small sized and slim parathas. Make them crispy by keeping the fire low and cooking them for an extended time.

Preparing the Chicken for Chicken Paratha roll

  • Boneless Chicken Square Cut about ½ Kg
  • Thick Curd 1/8 Kg
  • Garlic and Ginger mixed Paste 2 table Spoons
  • Red food colour (Optional)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Sugar (very little)
  • Black pepper (1 tea spoon)
  • Turmeric Powder (1 tea spoon)
  • Mustard Power (1 table spoon)
  • Zeera and Dhaniya Powdered (1 table spoon)

Mix all the ingredients except chicken and then place chicken pieces in the material made. Mix well and leave it for about 2 hours. This will ensure that the mixture has penetrated well into the chicken.

Then cook the marinated chicken well. Cook according to the Pakistani recipe or Indian recipe (Bhoonain).

Making the Paratha

When the chicken is cooked and became soft, take one paratha and place it on some shelf. Place some cooked chicken in the centre of paratha and align it. Then roll the parathas in the way you want and cover them with some sort of paper or sheet.
